At a young age, Konstantine Angelopoulos would express himself by drawing abstract characters in his sketchbook. 

Even then, Angelopoulos knew the power of art as a powerful form of "conversation" with the world, surpassing the limitations of mere words. 

But for years, his art remained close to home. Luckily, with some encouragement from those who witnessed his abilities, "Deno" took his work to the world in 2007, showing in art exhibitions and local businesses. 

In 2008, Konstantine joined the ASL (The Art Students League of New York). Like a seed in the right soil, his work thrived. This new phase in his artistic career meant larger scale art shows in private galleries in NYC.

When describing his work, Konstantine reveals the following:

"Art gives me peace and serves as a vital outlet for me. I approach each panel or canvas with unbridled energy and raw emotion. The process is chaotic yet structured, with layers of textured materials embodying the depth of feeling."

He continues:  

"I utilize a wide array of materials and mediums, from found art to up-cycled materials from previous works. I employ a variety of power tools, brushes and palette knives to create my vision."

Currently living in Astoria, New York, Konstantine Angelopoulos continues to create abstract characters just as he did when he was a child, but now dares to share it with a larger audience.
